The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kano State Council, extends its warmest felicitations to the entire Muslim Ummah on the auspicious occasion of this year’s Eid al-Adha celebration.
In a press statement issued on Wednesday by the Acting Secretary of the Council, Hauwa S. Zahradeen, the Union emphasized the deep spiritual significance of the festival.
The Acting Chairman of the Council, comrade Mustafa Gambo Muhammad, noted that this sacred occasion is a yearly opportunity for Muslims to reflect, renew their faith, and strengthen their devotion to Almighty Allah (S.W.T.).
He urged the Ummah to emulate the virtues and sterling character of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) for the collective benefit of mankind, both in this world and the hereafter.
Furthermore, Comrade Gambo commended members of the Kano NUJ council for their unwavering commitment to the ethics of the profession, praising their continuous strides in delivering factual, balanced, and timely news.
While praying for the state’s progress, the Acting Chairman implored the Almighty to bless the festivities with enduring peace, unity, and mutual understanding to help forge Kano State forward.
The Council also extended its special prayers to Nigerian pilgrims currently in the Holy Land, wishing them a spiritually rewarding and successful Hajj exercise, and a safe return back home.
