Maltina has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting education and youth development with the launch of a major awareness campaign on the importance of science and technology education in 30 schools across Kano State.
The initiative, which has been widely welcomed by education stakeholders, aims to encourage students to embrace modern education and develop interest in science and technology as a pathway to a brighter future and economic growth.

Speaking during the programme, the Northern Nigeria representative of Maltina, Kabiru Al-Kasim, said the company considers support for education as part of its contribution to societal development.
He explained that this was not the first time Maltina had organised such a programme in Kano, assuring that the company would continue introducing initiatives that positively impact students and young people.
“Maltina believes that education remains the foundation of development, especially in this era where the world is driven by science and technology,” he said.

Also speaking, Malam Sagiru Umar Dan Bare of the Kano State Ministry of Education commended Maltina for its significant contribution toward strengthening education in the state.
According to him, Kano has a long-standing reputation for educational excellence, adding that the initiative would further motivate students to focus on science and technology-related studies.
“Today, the world revolves around science and technology, and this initiative by Maltina will help prepare our students to face the challenges of the modern age,” he stated.
In his remarks, another Maltina representative, Kabiru Sale, said the company introduced the programme to complement the efforts of the Kano State Government in improving education.
He noted that the aim of the initiative is to broaden students’ understanding of the importance of science and technology education while nurturing future professionals who will contribute to national development.

On his part, the District Head of Rimin Gado and representative of the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Auwal Mudi Yakasai, praised Maltina for its role in promoting education and youth empowerment in the state.
He said partnerships between government and private companies such as Maltina are essential in achieving sustainable progress in education and economic development.
