The Kwankwasiyya Movement has addressed members of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), its supporters, and the general public concerning the ongoing proceedings before the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
The Movement reaffirmed its confidence in the integrity, independence, and sense of responsibility of the Supreme Court. However, it emphasized the urgent need for a timely resolution of the matter currently before the apex court.

According to the statement, the situation has placed the party under significant pressure, as electoral processes are governed by strict constitutional and administrative timelines. The absence of a clear and final judgment, it noted, continues to limit the party’s ability to effectively organize, mobilize, and participate fully in the democratic process.
The Movement expressed hope that the Supreme Court, in line with its long-standing judicial precedent and its role as the guardian of constitutional order, will consider not only the legal merits of the case but also the time-sensitive nature of the issues involved.
It further noted that the Court has consistently demonstrated that justice must not only be fair but also timely—especially in cases with direct implications for democratic participation and national stability.
The Kwankwasiyya Movement said it remains confident that the Supreme Court, in exercising its constitutional mandate, will act in a manner that upholds the integrity of the judiciary and strengthens Nigeria’s multiparty democracy.
The Movement also urged its members and supporters to remain patient, united, and committed to lawful and democratic engagement, stressing that the moment requires resilience and trust in democratic institutions.
It concluded by expressing optimism that justice will prevail—timely, fairly, and in the best interest of the nation.
