Kano State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo today Saturday attended the wedding fatiha of Rabiu Sale Kausani and Aisha Aminu Sabo where he served as Waliyi (representative) of the groom.
The marriage ceremony, conducted in accordance with Islamic rites, took place at the palace of the District Head of Chinkani, Alhaji Abdulkadir Bello, in Chinkani town Giade Local Government Area of Bauchi State. The district head of Chikani also served as the Waliyyi (guardian) of the bride (Aisha)
The groom, Rabiu, is the son of Hon. Saleh Kausani Wudil, a former Commissioner for Transport in Kano State.
During the ceremony, a dowry of two hundred thousand Naira (N200,000) was paid to solemnise the union, as family members, friends, and well-wishers gathered to celebrate and offer prayers for a successful and prosperous marriage.
The Deputy Governor congratulated both families and prayed for Allah’s blessings upon the newly wed couple.
