
No fewer than seventeen Million naira has been raised during a book launch at Dakaiyyawa community in kaugama local Government area.
The Book written by the Author , Na’ima Sulaiman named ‘Dakaiyyawa Tsakiyar Kano ‘ carried an interesting brief history of Dakaiyyawa since colonial era to date.
While reading a brief history of the Book ( Dakaiyyawa Tsakiyar Kano), Dr Ginsau Abdulqadeer has stated a lot of things since the colonial administration about the history of the area and name of the community (Dakaiyyawa).
Ginsau outlined the occupation of the people of the area as well as the progress obtaining presently .
Reviewing the Book , Professor Mu’azu Sa’adu Kudan from Sule lamido University Kafin Hausa has reviewed some wards used in the contents of the book during the launching ceremony in Dakaiyyawa community.
During the launching ceremony of the Book by Alhaji Aliyu Ironko who was represented by Hamisu Dakaiyyawa commended the effort of the author and bought 10 copies at sum of 10,000,000 (Ten Million Naira ) .
In his remark , the Emir of Hadejia , chairman Jigawa state council of chiefs (Dr) Alhaji Adamu Abubakar Maje Haruna (Con) has commended the performance of the author about the written of the book call ‘ Dakaiyyawa Tsakiyar Kano ‘ where he thanked the community people about their involvement and contribution they made to boost educational sector and encourage young generation.
In her speech, the wife of the Executive Governor , (Dr) Hajiya Amina Umar Namadi ((Fca) , Garkuwar Matan Arewa ably represented by Jigawa state chairman (Algon) , council chairman of Dutse local Government Dr Sibu Abdullahi has expressed satisfaction about the experience of the author .
He further said on behalf of the Wife of the executive Governor purchased 10! copies at cost of 1.000.000 and 50 copies on behalf of Association of all local of Nigeria.( Algon) at cost of 1.000.000 respectively.
Sibu added that, the copies will be distributed to sule lamido university kafin Hausa, Jigawa state college of education Gumel and Legal Ringim respectively and urged to translate to English version for readers .
In his closing remark, the council chairman of Kaugama local Government , Honourable Usman masaki Dansule has thanked all the participants who honoured the occasion and wish more success ahead the struggle of the author.
