The Kwankwasiyya Movement has congratulated Muslims across Nigeria and beyond on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, calling for unity, justice, and renewed commitment to national development.
In a Sallah message signed by its spokesperson, Dr. Habibu Sale Mohammed, the movement also extended greetings to the people of Kano State, religious and traditional leaders, as well as its members and supporters worldwide.
It described Eid as more than a celebration, noting that it serves as a reminder of sacrifice, discipline, obedience, and faith in Almighty Allah. The group urged Muslims to uphold values of compassion, justice, unity, and service to humanity.
The movement reaffirmed its commitment to promoting people-oriented governance under the leadership of its Supreme Leader, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, whose dedication and sacrifices, it said, continue to inspire many Nigerians.
It urged citizens to remain patient and resolute amid the country’s current challenges, stressing the need for sincere leadership and inclusive governance that prioritises the welfare of the common man.
The group also commended religious scholars for their role in guiding the Muslim Ummah and called on them to continue praying for peace, stability, and good leadership in the country.
Addressing the people of Kano State, particularly elders and stakeholders, the movement appreciated their contributions to the state’s development and urged them to continue supporting justice and collective progress.
It further lauded members of the Kwankwasiyya Movement worldwide for their loyalty and resilience, describing them as the backbone of the movement, and encouraged them to remain united and committed to its ideals.
The movement also urged Nigerians to remember the less privileged by extending acts of charity and kindness during the festive period.
It prayed that Allah accepts the acts of worship of the faithful and grants the nation peace, unity, and progress.
