The member representing Bagwai/Shanono Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Yusuf Ahmad Badau, has congratulated Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, on his third year in office, praising his administration’s achievements in key sectors of the state.
In a statement issued on the occasion of the governor’s third anniversary in office, Badau described the administration as one focused on improving the welfare of the people and delivering democratic dividends across Kano State.

The lawmaker said Governor Yusuf had, over the past three years, demonstrated commitment to the development of the state through projects and policies aimed at enhancing the living standards of residents in the 44 local government areas.
He particularly commended the administration’s interventions in education, healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, youth empowerment, water supply and social welfare programmes, noting that the initiatives had positively impacted many communities.
According to him, the governor’s efforts in rebuilding public institutions and prioritising the needs of ordinary citizens reflect responsible and responsive leadership.
“Within three years, the administration has recorded visible achievements that continue to transform communities and improve the lives of the people. Governor Yusuf has shown determination and commitment in implementing programmes designed to fulfil his campaign promises,” he said.
Badau also lauded the governor for promoting peace, unity and inclusive governance in the state, saying his leadership had continued to attract support from different segments of society.
He described Governor Yusuf as a leader committed to the socio-economic development of Kano State and expressed confidence that the administration’s policies would further strengthen the state’s growth and prosperity.
The federal lawmaker reaffirmed his support for the state government and pledged continued cooperation in efforts aimed at advancing the interests of the people.
He prayed for Allah’s guidance, wisdom and good health for the governor as he continues to steer the affairs of the state.
Governor Yusuf was sworn into office on May 29, 2023, as the governor of Kano State.
