Sha’aban Maintains Exit from Senatorial Contest, Pledges Loyalty to APC
This was contained in a statement signed by Ahmad Bamalli on behalf of the family of Hon. Sani Sha’aban, Danburan Zazzau and Barden Keffi, which confirmed that Hon. Sha’aban has maintained his earlier decision to withdraw from the race for the Kaduna North Senatorial (Zone One) seat and has declared support for any candidate fielded by the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Ahmad Bamalli stated that “the decision to step down from the contest was taken in the interest of his family after several consultations.”
According to the statement, “Hon. Sha’aban remains firm in this decision and will not be seeking any other political position in the state.”
He also reaffirmed his loyalty to the party and expressed readiness to contribute immensely to the success of the APC in Kaduna State and Nigeria at large.
The statement further noted that Hon. Sha’aban has pledged his full support for any candidate presented by the APC for the Senate seat in the zone.
It also called on all Sha’aban supporters, party members, and the people of Kaduna North to respect and understand the decision, noting that he is content with “what Allah has decreed.”
The statement expressed appreciation to the people of Zone One and the wider Kaduna State for their continued goodwill, prayers, and support for Hon. Sani M. Sha’aban.
