In Kano State, the Special Adviser on Enlightenment and Social Mobilization to Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, Hajiya Bilkisu Yakubu Indabo, has highlighted the administration’s key achievements, emphasizing efforts to strengthen engagement with the public.

Indabo said the government has made significant progress in education, including renovating schools across the state and supporting students to study abroad, aimed at improving academic standards and opportunities.

She also noted that the administration has taken responsibility for maternal healthcare across all local government areas, a move designed to reduce maternal and infant mortality and improve overall health outcomes.

According to Indabo, a special event is planned to inform citizens about these initiatives, including the government’s policy to reduce school fees by 50 percent, demonstrating its commitment to easing the burden on families.

She added that initiatives like these reflect the governor’s dedication to improving the welfare of residents, stating that “it is rare to see a governor with such compassion and care for the people, like Abba Kabir Yusuf.”

In his remarks, Kano State Government Secretary, Umar Farouk Ibrahim, noted that the administration has implemented numerous community-focused projects and plans to continue expanding programs to ensure sustainable development across the state.

Similarly, the Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya, reported that over 900 government projects are currently underway throughout Kano, underscoring the administration’s efforts to drive tangible progress and inclusive development.

Observers say these initiatives reflect the Yusuf administration’s commitment to improving citizens’ lives while encouraging public understanding and support for ongoing government programs.
